Ok..I am in class
i am in class while i am typing this so if it gets short...sorry. the teacher keeps walking around so i have to put it away and then pull it back up! Anyways while we were on x-mas i got 3 concusions. the first one was the day after we got out... this happened on December 21, 2002 what happened was that i was with a friends and we were driving around and out of no where, a car hit the passanger side of the car and i hit my head against the window and i was taken to the hospital and i was told that i had a minor concussion and that i was to stay home for 2 days so it could heal. Now i know none of you know me but it is IMPOSSIBLE for Lindsey R. Tinnell to stay home for 2 days with her messed up family. But my mom made me. One week later, December 28, 2002 i got another one. I was sledding in my back yard and i was talking on the phone and i went down the hill and i flew off the sled and hit my head on our swing set. so i called my friend and he came and took me to the hospital and the doctor laughed at me b/c he had just seen me a week earlier and he asked what was wrong and i told him. i got another x-ray and the doctor told me that i had a minor concussion but it was nothing to worry about. so we went home and i fell asleep even though you are supposed to wait, but i was tired from the previous night so i took a nap. And then on Saturday January 4, 2003, I got yet ANOTHER concussion. this time it wasn't my fault. I was skiing at Terry Peak and i was going down a really steep hill so i make curves so i dont go straight down the hill. When i started going down the hill, i saw a snowboarder sit donw. i thought that he would be there for a while so i turned in front of him. I turned far enough in front of him to were if he decide to start going again, he wouldnt hit me. i guess i was wrong. He got up and started going really fast and hit me right on. I flew over him and hit my face against the ice. The person who hit me, got up, asked if i was ok and left. Later he found me and told me that he was sorry he left me there but he thought that i would have killed him. And then my mom came and took me to the hospital and the doctor told me that this concussion was VERY serious and that i couldnt sleep for 24 hours. I was like WHAT THE HELL? I NEED MY SLEEP. the doctor apologized and explained why i couldnt sleep and i shut up. so my mom went and bought me 8 12packs of Mountain Dew so i could stay awake. And i did. the thing is that the person who hit me..found out who i was and called me to apoligize agian. and then he came up on sunday and we got to know each other and now we are dating. But the teacher just told us to start logging off so i will talk to ya'll later!
