A book that I just can't put down.
Man, this not having a computer thing really sucks ass. The last time I updated was last year! (Yea, I know that joke's old.)

I'm at the hotel rather early, getting ready for my LAST audit shift!! I'm pumped... I hate this place so much. Well.... the job itself is fine, I just have problems with some of the people here. I hate the fact that I have those shitty people in mind when I decided to quit this place. Whatever, they will soon rot in hell right next to me. :-)

Let's see here... Things at VIOC are going alright. Starting December 31st and going until the 3rd, I had all those days off... Man, I was so lazy those couple of days. Watched a lot of movies... just relaxed... I hate that feeling of just being lazy sometimes because I'm so used to be either at work, or at someone's house. I just spread my self out and re-fuckin-laxed...

The one thing that I'm starting to get worried about at VIOC is that I haven't been able to finish up my manager's training. Joel has been out of the work place for a while and I need him to finalize my training... And until he does that, I don't get my raise. I'm starting to get worried, because now that I don't have a second source of income... yea. Things on the money end of things are going to be tight. When I see Joel tomorrow I'm going to try to get everything I can done... I need that money.

Heh, the way this journal entry is shaping, I'm just jumping all over the place. So, I'm going to try and break all this crap into days... (Stealing the method from Dawn's last entry!)

12/31/04

This was the first day that I had off in my four day spurt. The main focus of my day was the party all my friends came to at Mike and mine's apartment. That started around 8:30ish... But before I went to that, I headed to the bank to drop off some money, then I visited Dawn and then Mom and Ed.

When I left the bank I got a surprise phone call from Jessica! We talked briefly and I told her that she was still more then welcome to come to the party that was going on that evening... She was excited about it but... she never called me that night.

After I talked to Jess, I set my course for Dawn's house. I knew she wouldn't be able to come over for the party, but I still wanted to see her before the New Year rolled around. It was just a great visit all around with only one exception, but I'll get to that in a minute...

Dawn lives right in front of a huge lake out in Deerfield so we went outside so she could show it to me... I also got to meet Jessica, Dawn's older sister, who graduated from Maplewood's electronics class!! We had some great conversations about Mr. Sparren... Man, it was great.... Then after that, all of us (Dawn, me, Jessica, and the three other demons!) went for a quick walk down the road. It was nice... But THEN, the crappy part of the night happened when Dawn suggested going to see a friend of hers. JoHanna, I think. Well, we never did find her house because Dawn hadn't ever been there in the dark.... So the trip was a waste. What REALLY sucked is that on my way to JoHanna's, I hit a FUCKING deer!! I mean, I only clipped it, but I need a new left fender.... I was SO pissed... I mean, mostly because that accident would never have happened if I didn't make that trip. But, like Jeff always says, "Life goes on." So... I'm just going to forget about it and adapt.

Parting ways with Dawn sucked.... I knew that I might not be able to see her for a while because she was starting school, but.. yea... I wanted to just cling onto Dawn and take her home with me! Our parting was bittersweet, and I haven't seen her since that day.... but Dawn has constantly been on my mind.

After that I went to visit my mom and Ed. They were over Kim and Karl's house. I didn't stay long, I just stole some stuffing and turkey and that was the end of that. It was good seein' Momma and Ed, but it was almost time for the party... I had to beat feet to my pad.

To make a really long story short, the party rocked... Gin and Jack were the drinks of the night, followed up by Jose and Khalua. We watched some movies but the greatest part of the evening was when we rigged the TV with a piece of wire so we could get the ball drop on TV. Reception was bad, sound was worse, but we didn't care. We were all drunk!! Ha ha, but that's the defining moment of the New Year for me. I had a lot of fun with my friends... Brindle got destroyed... Mike was out pretty early. Me, I had four shots all night, two beers... Can't remember what else. I was pretty drunk but not that bad. I went to bed with a smile on my face... I had a great time.

1/1/05

Whoo hoo! It's the new year! And guess what I did that day? Jack shit! I went to my mom's house for some good food but that was about it. Afterwards, when I got home, I got a call from Dawn. She was out in Toledo with her family, but she snagged a cell phone and called me! We talked for a while then after that, I called it a night....

1/2/05

The only thing I did on Sunday was watch the Browns kick the Titan's ass over mom's house! I got to talk to Dawn for a little bit that night, too, I think... I watched Dawn of the Dead and then Mike brought home Shaun of the Dead. Awesome movies....

1/3/05

This was just another lazy day for me. I cleaned my room... that's about it. The koolest part about that night was talking to Dawn for 2 and a half hours in the evening... I found out that the best place in the building to talk on my cell phone is in our laundry room. So I took a bowl of Pizza Rolls with me and got comfy on the washers. We talked about so much.... I miss her.

1/4/05

First day back to work and I had to work an Open to Close. Holy SHIT I had a bad day... So many customer complaints that day... People were just affected with some weird shit... I don't know, I was just frustrated by people's bitching... I had a shitty sales day, nothing went right... I just wanted to scream at some people! The only good thing about that dy was talking to Dawn again for another 2 and a half hours. This time, I brought a blanket out for more comfort on the washer. lol, it was great.

And now... TODAY!!!

Work sucked because it was boring, but I had a killer sales day, too. A T-Tech, Cabin filter, Fuel Filter... $17.43 non-oil change revenue. I'll take it! Dawn stole her friend's cell phone and her and I talked back and forth all day. That was awesome... I wondered if her friend had gotten annoyed at all. Steph, if you ever read this, thanks! You helped make my day!!

Ah, damnit, I have to go, I'll update soon I hope. Peace out!
