okay so..
...I guess I should update...lol
Alright...where did I leave off?...well, it was sometime last week...so let's just do this week! It was an exciting one ;D
Monday: Got my license! We had to go to this DMV that was like an hour away though, it sucked! And there was all this road construction and blocked off lanes and such, not an ideal place to take a driving test. Haha, but I still passed, so it's all good! ;D I also had a dentist appt. But umm...that wasn't exciting, because, *as usual* I don't have any cavities or anything. (I've never had a cavity in mah life, yo!)
Tuesday: First day driving to school...all by myself...*shudder*...that was um..."interesting". Let's just leave it at, I was in tears by the end of it, I think I stalled out a grand total of...maybe...157 times? ;D So the stick shift is taking me a while to get used to, at LEAST I can get from point A to point B...which is the point...right?...lol
Wednesday: Hmm...what happened Wednesday...driving to school was much better...Savanna gave me a super tip...she told me to take Beach Road (which is a much smaller road compared to the highway-type thing that everybody else takes)...so there was much less stress and I was happier. :D Oooh, and after school, I hopped on over to guidance, and got switched out of Creative Writing 2 and into Photography 2. So that was cool :D
Thursday: I gave Travis a ride to school in the morning - I'm much better when I have somebody else in the car with me; I'm much less likely to freak out and start crying when I make a mistake. lol. So yea...then later that day, I had to go buy my camera for Photography 2, because my camera from last year is shit - it was JUST enough to get me through the semester. lol, but so...the only camera that met all the requirements (35mm, SLR, Aperture Priority and/or Shutter Priority, zoom lens, etc...) was about $400 - there went the money for the radio for my car =( I was so sad when she rang it up...*sigh* I guess I'll have to wait a few more months for that radio...
Friday: School was a half-day, so after I got off school I drove up to Duck and worked half the day at the fruit stand. I ran over to DVO to secure my winter job over there, and they put me on the schedule for Saturday morning: 8-2; Wednesday After School: 5-9.5; Thursday After School: 5-9.5. So yea...that leads us to today...
Saturday [today]: I wake up at 6:30 (earlier than I wake up on a SCHOOL DAY) so that I can get up to DVO a few minutes early, cause I like to be early for new jobs. So, they of course arrive ten minutes late, lol. Then they tell me that they would rather I didn't work today, since today is gonna be super busy and they don't want to to have to train me when it's busy. Understandable...so yea...they want me to come up on Tuesday...bleh...I don't want to drive up there...lol. But, no choice. So yea...now it's 9...on a Saturday morning...I shouldn't even be awake right now, haha. And we don't have any food...except a bagel and cream cheese which I'm not in the mood for but I'm really hungry so maybe I'll go eat one. Anyway. Yea...and I don't know what's going to happen later on today or later on this weekend, but I'll try my hardest to keep ya guys updated, since I've been such a super-slacker today. lol.
