Ok. so I came home from NYC and my sweet husband was waiting for me as I got off the plane. Needless to say I fell into his arms and started crying. He is unbelievable. We went right from the airport to the Cancer Care Center at Elmbrook and began gathering information on breast cancer options. We brought home books and videos. We watched a video together on How Couples Cope with Breast Cancer. It was really helpful.
Called the next day and got an appointment with the surgeon, Dr. Gregory Ekbom. He also belongs to Westmoor and I golf with his wife. He also did some of my other biopsies. Gary and I went to see him with a long list of questions. He said that a lumpectomy and sentinel biopsy was the next step.
