    Class
My class last night was fun. Although some of the people in it are annoying, but what do you expect at Harvard. Harvard = annoying people. No big deal really, just a few people that feel the need to over-analyze everything. And one that likes to brag about the dumbest shit. NO ONE CARES!!!! GET OVER YOURSELF!!! But anyway, the teacher is cool. We watched those 2 D.W. Griffith films I mentioned in my last post, "Muskateers of Pig Alley" with Lillian Gish and "The New York Hat" with Mary Pickford. We also watched a film Billy Bitzer made 7 months after the opening of the first New York Subway called "Interior of the New York Subway". It wasn't a story, it was just film of a train going through the tunnel and stopping at the different stations. Nothing too exciting, but it was basically done to show motion and light. And back then it was pretty exciting because subways were new. Next week we watch Charlie Chaplin. And then we work our way up to Spike Lee by the end of the semester.

Yeah Bitzer is awesome. Though up until now my only familiarity with him is the work he did for D.W. Griffith. It was cool seeing something he did for himself.
