MySpace
Do you ever use MySpace to discuss homework assignments? According to an article in School Library Journal, "almost 60 percent of students who use social networking sites such as Friendster, Facebook, and even Webkins and Nick.com... say they talk about educational topics... more than 50 percent specifically talk about schoolwork..." I would love to receive comments from any of my Tweens and Teens who want to weigh in on this topic. I am a long-time supporter of Tweens & Teens having access to MySpace, and this article makes me feel even better about the fact that our library's Teens have a MySpace of their own! Check it out here: http://www.myspace.com/eglibraryteens.
Happy Reading!
