Hypochondriac
So yesterday I was convinced I had strep throat. I looked up pictures of strep throats on the internet, checked symptoms and remedies, took out my headlamp and looked at the back of my throat several times to compare with the pictures, and finally made T look at it, too.
He didn't see anything.
I concluded this morning that I don't have strep throat, though not before I bought a package of Ricola throat drops at the pharmacy after work yesterday.
I've thought for quite some time that I may have a touch of hypochondria.
T is going out of town for a night for work. I bought myself a special "bachelorette" meal last night - pasta and sauce from the deli. It's quick, easy, and doesn't require meat (unlike T). I also bought some fresh french green beans I'm going to steam.
I hate it when T goes away, but I try to make the best of it by doing some of the things I miss doing from my single life like having a cold room at night, eating certain vegetables, or keeping the coffee table cleared off.
