Use, And Throw
Blong *Blong will take a break for a few days. The writer has suddenly been exposed to radiation from the planet Truth, and is extremely depressed. The realisation that it was something he knew all along, and worse, even accepted.*
I got a new guitar! Yes, finally! It's awesome. Quite often we attribute certain imaginary qualities to things we love, but trust me, this is one's for real. It's a rosewood cut away, with a pick up for amps. It's even got volume and tone control! The bass strings sound really strong, and overall, it's an easy 9/10. 'Outside' by Staind is probably the best song to play on it, and Main Man and me are gonna cover it. A comprehensive plan has been created. First, there will be 10 singles. Then there will be a CD, with credits and everything. Then there will be a major record deal, with a major record label. Fast forward six months, and 80000 mad, screaming fans will sing the lyrics back to us. By the way, we still don't have a drummer, but I guess that's been given up. We sound great with just guitars and spirit.
My work is like wine. It's getting better with time. I absolutely love what I do. Dad busted the party though. He bought my CAT form today. I guess I'm gonna have to fill it, and send it in as well. Did the damn thing have to cost eleven hundred bucks? I'm really averse to taking this thing again. If an IIM interviewer ever reads this, I'd just like you to know that you've screwed up my life. Yes, you may be the answer to all my financial needs for the rest of my life, but you have no idea what domestic disruption your institute has been the cause of.
More music. 'One By One' by Foo Fighters. Been waiting for this for a really long time. 'All My Life' and 'Times Like These' are brilliant, and I think Rogeroo will cover the latter. Also, 'Under My Skin' by Avril Lavigne. Okay, I like her. She's got a good thing going. And really, the album isn't all that bad. I quite like it, especially the opening single 'Take Me Away'.
Apparently, I've had 'USE AND THROW' pasted on my forehead all along. Dammit.

Poetry In Static It's times like these you learn to live again It's times like these you give and give again It's times like these you learn to love again It's times like these time and time again
