Blong It was the first 36,483rd year since the last 36,483rd year, and all the inhabitants on Vorgon 8 were looking forward to it with as much enthusiasm as a wet sheep about to be shaved for wool. The Vorgons were afraid of the dark. Mortally afraid. With 7 Suns, there was just a brief 4 Earth minute period of darkness, and that too was greeted with prayers to Glob, the Vorgon God of flash lights. Vorgons were afraid of the dark because it was in the dark that they could not see. Yes, it might seem the obvious, but you must know the Vorgons to really know how badly a visual impairment frankly, impairs them. Vorgons are a fierce, vicious people. They need to be in charge. The urge to be in control of everything around them is so great that this one time when a certain Vorgon was made to wait one minute too long to use a public urinal, he beat the Groban attendant to a pulp using just his left tail. There is a photo of him that hangs on the wall of the reception of every public urinal in Vorgon 8. An eager copywriter added a few lines of text to the image. It read "Behold o' ye misfortunate attendant... the tail of the mighty Toilet Thrasher will keep you in line. So make thee sure that thou customer dost not tinkle too long, for thou might not tinkle at all." Joy. I am the proud owner of a tambourine, and a capo. Rogeroo finally has... um... 'percussion', and better strings! Rogeroo also has it's first single. Yes! My joy is unbounded. It's called 'Going On... Going Wrong', and it's lovely. Me and Main Man (name protected coz he'd kick my ass if it wasn't... I think) wrote it last night. First, there was a progression. Then there was a verse. One pre-chorus, one chorus, another verse and a bridge later, Rogeroo had it's first single. It sounds really good, and I think I like it too much. Things are so charming now. It's raining. Periods of Yellow weather occur with increasing frequency and I only wish I didn't have to take this stupid test. It gets a little cold at night, but I play the guitar till around two, and then sleep content in the knowledge that I played better than before. And with Rogeroo on track, and Roger to keep me company, I wish chocolate wouldn't make me fat. Music. Riot Act by Pearl Jam. I didn't think I'd like Pearl Jam. Someone I know simply adores Eddie Vedder so I decided to give it a shot. And I must say it's not all that bad. The CD is quite neat, and 'Love Boat Captain' is climbing the Phantasmal Greatest Rock Chart In The Universe. Also Stereophonics are simply brilliant. I've completed the entire Hitchhikers Guide series, and moved on to 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho. Apart from Blong, my literary adventures haven't taken me too far. Yet. By the way, Catwoman sucks, and I could watch Spiderman 2 again. Song: Mr. Writer - Stereophonics Poetry In Static Mr. Writer Why don't you tell it like it is? Why don't you tell it like it really is? Before you go home. Thought A good song, starts with a nothing, and ends with two verses and a bridge. Till next time... Mister Writer
