I Must Assure You
Blong Exit damnits. Where?
Imagination's gone on vacation. I'll let you know when he gets back.
New music! Yes! I got Nickelback's new CD 'The Long Road'. It's bloody brilliant. I think it's better than 'Silver Side Up' even. Also got Audioslave's first, finally! I'd been wanting to buy it for almost 9 months now. Pregnant procrastination. Got the Simpsons 'Hit And Run' PC game as well. Haven't played it yet though.
Maybe, somethings just aren't meant to stay. Maybe, people change. Maybe, I don't really want to know, how your garden grows. Maybe, public transport seating is made for midgets. Maybe, I'm responsible for breaking relationships... but then again, Maybe, I'm not. Maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me. Maybe, music is really the solution. Maybe, chocolate's better. Maybe, I could use an extra weekend. Maybe, simple pleasures are, in fact, complicated. Maybe, Jet does rock. Maybe, dogs know more than they show. Maybe, I could go on forever... but then again, Maybe, I won't.
Sometimes I wonder why I bother, and then I change my mind.
Somewhere along the line, the innocence fades. We're not believing anymore. Experience counts as much as, well, nothing.
Song: Get What You Need - Jet
Poetry In Static You're gonna get what you need (you're gonna get what you need) You're gonna get what you need (you're gonna get what you need) Come on and get what you need (you're gonna get what you need) Alright now get what you need (you're gonna get what you need)
Thought If it feels right, do it.
Till next time... Get Born

I stumbled onto your blog during an internet search for something else and have been reading it thru in absolute fascination. It brings back so many memories of a Bombay and Navy Nagar and US club and summer days spent by the sea pool (can you still swim there) and the Navy Ball and my outrageous flirting with sweaty palmed lieutenants who were probably terrified of my father finding out that they were making eyes at me! I left India almost 20 years ago but your words brought it back like it all happened yesterday. Oh yes, I remeber the thrills and boredom of college, and the hip new places we all saved up our money to party at. The party places that you mention did not exist when I was in Bombay but we had some fun places to shake a leg at. You made me nostalgic for Bus 123 and 103 and frankies at causeway and my first summer job at Lintas at Nariman Point, occasional weekends on the Hamla beach with family and much naughtiness that I hope my folks never find out about!!! Time has flown but I feel no older!!! I look forward to reading more of your blog.
