This is about the Book Reviews community, but I thought I'd better post here for privacy.
There is a person who keeps posting very long pieces of original creative work in the community. Now I'm all for creative writing, but I do not like this person's style and I'm not very happy that his work keeps turning up on my friends page. I joined the community in order to review books and to read other people's reviews. There are plenty of other communities on this site in which people may post their creative writing.
Would it be possible for you, as maintainer of the community, to suggest to him gently and politely that it might be a good idea for him to join one of these in addition, to post his creative work in that community instead, and to save yours for reviewing books, which is after all its stated purpose? I did drop him a hint last time by asking him of which book his post was intended to be a review, but all the effect that had was to cause him to disable comments on his latest offering.
I don't want to annoy anyone, but on the other hand, this person is starting to annoy me. I hope it's possible to find a solution with which everyone will be happy.
