    A Look Inside My Writing
You saw me standing at the door
    I couldn’t endure it anymore
    Lies covered in more lies
Broken hearts along with half-hearted cries
You said you loved me with all your heart
And that nothing could tear us apart
    Then she came to you
    Just out of the blue
And suddenly I wasn’t there anymore
I was just another part of the floor
So now you stand at the door
    I won’t take it anymore
You had your opportunity and now it’s gone
You won’t do me no more wrong

    ~*~

You smiled and so did I
But as I smiled, I also cried
    Things were said
    Feelings were hurt
Things that sent up the alert
We didn’t know where to stop
    All we did was tread
    We both have wounded pride
We were both left in the dark wondering why

    ~*~

    Hell is what I’ve seen
    And nothing in between
    You hide behind your guilt
    Watching my life slowly wilt
    They say time will heal
But to heal you have to feel
    Happiness is what you expect
But all I feel is reject
    If I display anything more
    I’ll be pushed away
So I can’t take it anymore
    So no I’m not okay

    ~*~

Interesting I wrote all these last night in about a 10 minute period. I thought I'd post them as they say poetry is a look inside your soul. So here you go.
