things you can resist, dreams you cannot...
These days I've been often in SITGES 2003. There have been great movies there, I have seen many, I'd wanna see much more ^^;
December 1st, Monday (00:45h): "Surprise Screening" (Tenshi no Tamago)
Great anime, made in 1985 by two geniouses: Mamoru Oshii and Yoshitaka Amano. A hypnotizing ambience created by its images and music is all over the movie.
P.D: Goddamn! they screened the movie at a DivX quality and without subtitles so it was hard to understand. Angel Sala, Fuck you!!
December 3rd, Wednesday (19:00h): Dragon Head
Based on the manga by Minetarou Mochizuki, that film could be much better than it is, If I hadn't read the manga, I'd say it's a good natural-catastrophe movie, but too short. SFX are pretty good, they remember me of Kaijuu movies xD, but the characters could be more ellaborated (with a longer running time ^^). remarkable YAOIistic scene dedicated to Shigai, Ari, Kana and Arashi ;)
P.D: We found Tadanobu Asano at the station when we arrived at Sitges that day. We took photos of him between us and he signed autographs too. He's had a leading role in movies like Zatoichi and Koroshiya1 (Ichi the Killer pels makls xDD).
December 5th, Friday (01.15h): "Anime Marathon" (Tamala 2010 + Tokyo Godfathers + Wonderful Days)
Tamala 2010, weird movie. I missed Pizzicato Five in its Soundtrack, It's like a Flash Movie of those you see on Internet but much longer, not bad. Tokyo Godfathers, greeeeat greeeat anime, (Madhouse ooh oooh orugasumuu!!) great animation, plot, photography, and rhythm. It'll make you have fun a lot. ...a little wonder. Wonderful Days, well.... I haven't so much to sa about it. It was late and I fell asleep few times T__T. I can Only comment It's graphic aspects: 3D CG and miniature sets used in the movie were great, but... it weren't integrated with the 2D animated characters at all; These ones were well designed, but its strokelines were too thick and regular, modifying these, the movie would be much better. About the plot I can't tell you much, I was.... mmm yepp, sleepy. (This doesn't mean it's bad!)

December 7th, Sunday (16:00h): "Marathon" (Zatoichi + Texas Chainsaw Massacre + Chakushin Ari)
Zatoichi, great great movie! Kitano-sama has changed the tale at his own but we can forgive him xDD. Great plot, photography, comical scenes, soundtrack... all is great in this movie. It will be more accessible to the general public than his earlier films. I can't wait to see it again with my friends who missed it T___T.Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I liked this one too I think it's pretty good-looking. I had seen the original movie and I could say that this one has many things that are better than the oher one, its photography is great (I'll leave aestheticisms apart^^), the some of the characters have been changed, optimized I could say. This new Leatherface is... a bit smarter than the old one. (I missed the grandpa, though xDD). Chakushin Ari (One missed call), well... although it's a movie from Takashi Miike, this doesn't save it at all. It seems Ringu but swapping the TV by Cell Phones. He could have ended the movie in another way (when they find the source of all). A few goosebumps and always the same.. -___-

On Saturday we went to dinner to FUUGETSUDOU Japanese [Chinese xD] Restaurant (Koyuki was full). We were Shigai, Kômori, Aeka, Nuë, Mikan, Kana, Sam, Miyu, Rinoa, Arashi, Santi, Susi, Pako and I. That was a farewell party for those who go to Japan(T_______T) on December 19, and for Miyu, Arashi and Rinoa, who go back to their homelands (Menorca) on holidays. FINS AVIAAAAAT!! ^___^
Well... I'm busy now, of homework, and I have to make a drawing to Adha, we said that we'd do one to each other ^^;
