    Help!
    Hey, I need help. I can't have more than 5 friends on my blurty. I need to find out how to change this. It was working fine with my other blurty. If anyone knows how, could you please respond back to me as soon as possible. It'd mean a lot, thanks.

    Chelx

Below is an answer to your support question regarding "No more than 5 friends?".
======================================================================

FAQ QUESTION: What are the types of Blurty accounts?
http://www.blurty.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=88

You don't say what type of account your friend is using. As of April 17, 2003 newly created accounts created as "Free accounts" (You can check your friends account type by going to http://www.blurty.com/userinfo.bml?user=username&mode=full - replace username with the appropriate name, look for the section entitled account type)

Free accounts have certain limitations, such as not being able to add or create custom styles, only being able to have 3 userpics and by restricting the number of friends that can be defined (please see the referenced FAQ for details)

Originally free users could not add more than 5 friends, although the limit has now been increased to 10 friends, though that may change again at some point.

In the future it should be possible, by paying for the option, to upgrade free accounts to paid accounts. Such paid accounts will not have those restrictions and may offer additional features. Unfortunately paid accounts are not available yet. You may want to monitor http://www.blurty.com/paidaccounts/ for any information about the introduction of paid accounts. You may also like to monitor http://www.blurty.com/community/news/ for possible updates.
