Current music:Are You Still Mad- Alanis Morissette

    Last night's Angel
Again with the vague spoiler warning...

Okay, I liked it. I think that it may have copped out at the end a little, but not enough to make me not like the ep. (Like that stupid Reaper thing). And as funny as Spike was, I really hope he doesn't just become comic relief guy. I love that Wesley finally had a storyline. This is sort of what I was talking about when I said that it's not the stand-alone episode format that was bothering me. The plot wrapped up. There are still threads that can and should reappear later, but essentially this was monster of the week. But because Wesley and Angel and Fred were given story and not just action, it worked. For me anyway.

BTW, still hate Eve. More than any character thus far in the Buffyverse. Because she's not even interesting enough to hate. She's got the boredom of Riley plus the moral standing of Lilah. At least with Lilah she was damned interesting. And Riley was boring, but at least you knew you could trust him. How they've managed to create a character that you can't turn your back to & yet still bore me to sleep every time she's on screen... I have no idea. Chalk up another major accomplishment for ME.

Anyway, the more I think about it the more I loved the ep. It looks like the show could be heading in the right direction. Speaking of where the show is headed...

Hot damn, did you see the preview for next week? Hell yeah, I'm all over this. I've been waiting for this for like... ever. Okay for about 4 years. But hot damn. I haven't been this excited about an upcoming episode (nudity warning aside) since the season premiere.
