So Oh Hell...
::stares up at the ceiling, concentrating on the steady breathing of the man next to him. turns his head, reaches over and touches that face, smiling. licks his lips and sits up, sliding out of bed quietly, trying not to wake him. walks across the suite and plops down at a chair, opens up the laptop, logs on to the 'net, and calls up his online journal. taps a key for a moment, debating what to write. nods and begins typing::
Yesterday was eventful, to put it lightly. Joey and Drew... married. Like I told him, I had to see that shit to believe it. My little boy has grown up. I'm wiping a tear as I type. It's nuts, you know, how someone like HOey finds someone and then he decides that's all he wants. And, Jesus Christ, married! That's so huge. That's like... Shit. I don't have words for that.
So, in true Joshua Chasez fashion, I fucked up the reception. Singlehandedly, it seems. So I showed up with my new boyfriend. With no warning, nothing. Nick and I walked in, like nothing. Lance and Justin were there.
After considerable glaring, and blocking them, and arguements, we went back inside and whatever. I hope things are alright with them. I feel like a shit, and I tried telling them both that sometimes things change, sometimes people change, and feelings change. It was futile. Any effort to fix this is all in vain.
So... needless to say... yesterday was "JC is an insensitve asshole day." No matter. I'm a fuckhead anyway.
On to lighter things. The ceremony! God, Joey and Drew were so pretty! Is pretty a good word to use to describe Joey Fatone? Yes. He was absolutely glowing. I'm glad I went.
I ran into Keri there, and we danced and talked. I hope things work out for her. While she's in town, she, Nick, and I gotta go chill. Maybe get some coffee. Maybe have an orgy. Ha!
My Special Kitty talked about things as well. It'll be fine.
And... I am happy. I finally got to show the world who my heart is. Nick. I wanna skip through fields of pansies and scream about it. One day, maybe we will. I asked him out to Hawaii with me once, and he still owes me that trip. So maybe we'll find a field of hibiscus or something, and skip skip.
I love him. I do. It feels good. It's warm and fuzzy, and my life is just perfect now. I still have special places for Justin and Lance, but like I told them both, it's just different now, just like their feelings for each other are intensified. Sometimes, things just change.
The only constant in life is change itself.
I believe that.
::clicks update, pretty sure that none of that made any sense at all. yawns and logs off, and shuts the top of the computer. pushes back his chair and stands up, stretching his arms above his head. smiles when he sees sleepy eyes blinking at him, and crosses the suite in a few short strides. slides into bed, mumbling::
Just doing some writing, baby. Go back to sleep.
::face flushes hot, hearing that voice say he couldn't sleep without him there, and pulls him close, smiles, and closes his eyes, and sleeps::

Like I just told Nick, I'm incredibly happy for both of you....You're both very special to me.
That hanging out thing is going to have to happen if you guys get back to LA though...because I flew home this morning..*smiles*
