keys, white, cold, pounding,
to fill sentimental memories
of a piano.
heart felt melodies,
grace air and mind,
an instrumental haven.
eyes closed, ears
uplifted mind calm
far from home.
note: ok so i'm listening to Ben Folds-rockin' the suburbs which i just bought today and am enjoying thorougly. his music is so unbelieveably inspirational that i just had to write!
