Tapos na CCS Week :(
I know this is late, but I just want to thank everyone who said they loved our performance last Thursday (and Friday!) for PasiCATCHan. Awwww, you guys. I was really touched. Promise. My roommates ( refineme and Ynna) even told me that they felt like crying when they were watching Aithne and me onstage. (They "felt" it! Hahahaha.) I won't say any more because everything about CCS Week is probably all over my friends' LJs already. Hahaha. Basta, everyone was awesome. Again, THANKS sobra. Nakakataba ng puso talaga. I LOVE YOU SONGERS!!! :D
Congratulations to all the participants of PasiCATCHan and CCS Icon!!! (Especially the winners! Hehehe!) Panalo kayong lahat! Ang gagaling ninyo!
A special mention of course goes to my friend kiranb, the reigning Munch Queen! I don't know how many munchkins and doughnuts she ate, but one of my friends who lost to her ate 17 munchkins and 7 doughnuts. Now that impressed me, but the thought of kiranb out-eating my friends was...wow. Kiran, you da mehn.
BUT, the very best thing about CCS Week is that we got to watch South Border perform live! I don't even know how to describe the whole thing, and if I did, it wouldn't even come close to how the show actually went. Basta, it was a night of great music, a lot of dancing (Duncan!!! And the crowd of course), great music, energy and sweat, and did I mention GREAT MUSIC?!! Not to mention the sound system was pretty good too. The "sound guys" (for lack of knowledge of a better term hehe) of South Border were the ones who managed the sound system, and you could tell that it was really done by professionals. When we sang before South Border (not really "right before", we weren't an opening act or anything, though I wish we were, hahaha), our group didn't even need a sound check! :) Anyway, most of the songs they performed were upbeat ones, and during the slow songs (especially "I Miss You"), I really felt like hugging someone (no one in particular, I just wanted a hug. Hahaha.) kaya lang si Deric ang katabi ko. Pffffft. Waaaah, I really wanna perform with South Border one day! They're just sooo amazing. (Ok, I'm gonna stop already before I sound like a crazed South Border fanatic.)
Afterwards we hung out at 7/11. Actually, we hung out at Oliver's condo unit (Yup, Unit 711). Hehehe. Panalo sa comedy (Aimee, from an overdose of munchkins and doughnuts) at drama (Er...Can't say anything. Not my place.)! Sa uulitin! :P
BTW, I finally found the video for "Byahe Tayo"! *is happy*
