I posted an ad on craiglist for the first time. Boy I already got 4 replies. I am trying to find a home for the puppies and the mother by the time they are 6 weeks old. Looks like a lot of people use craig's list.

Just be careful Jackie....and dont trust anyone. If you have the pups listed for free, I would change that and charge at least $26 for them, that way you will know that the people who are taking them are serious about taking care of a dog and that they will be going to a good home. You never know what will happen to them if you just give them away.

We use Craigslist a lot.. mainly to get rid of crap we don't use.

But as Lisa said, yes be very careful, even to sell your puppies. There are a lot of people on there that will take them and then resell them or whatnot. Craigslist won't let you "sell" them but if you put a "re-homing fee" that will suffice.

I bought my little baby bird from a guy on Craigslist. And it wasn't a 5-10 minute visit either (regardless of having to drive all the way to the worst part of Detroit). But once I felt comfortable enough with the guy that was needed to get rid of the bird and asked a ton of questions and what not... I didn't leave his place empty handed. And so far so good, my baby bird is good and healthy.

You are finding a new home for Kelsey's dog, too?
