my husband just said if his wife died he would not expect me to go to her funeral. He wouldn't even go. Now that is sad. He wouldn't go to his son's mother's funeral. I should have known that. I knew when I asked him what his answer would be. I knew that his mother would take his son to the funeral.

If his wife died he wouldn't go? Ex-wife? You know, hon, Marty is who he is. I know this whole death thing is disappointing with the way he is reacting, and it sounds like he is not meeting your expectations. Perhaps you need to change your expectations? I suspect that Marty is not a friend of death. It is better to avoid than embrace it as a part of life. It probably scares him. (Reply to this) (Thread)
