I've been in such a weird mood lately.

Emotional gratification is more than sexua, more than the great sexual gratification like you have with your dearest girl friend/fiancee.
I talking about that deep drive of pursuit of excellence in grasping the emotion of a moment translated into a universal that survives time. You ( and there are few who) know the feeling: that the core must immortalize as yearning or enlightenment--- yet words circumvent, evade, parry, shirk, deny it justice. I'm talking art!

MY time is PST (as of Sunday morning 02:00 ---at which, suddenly the fall back rule makes it 01:00).
Seems I work 24/7 but the goods news is I can take a break anytime, usually. Just not for extended periods. I will reply to an IM only if no archiving is available. I check-in for IM or email until 07/06/2004 at meal times: 09:00, 12:30, 4:00 and God only know dinner time ---usually that is our busiest time in ER.

PSS: That reminds me: my cousin, in NOV 2000 dissected his carotid and lived to tell about it. He still thanks me.
No one suspected because is is an atypical Marfans individual. He is only 6'2" and hand and arm length and feet and chest and shoulders smaller than Marfans historical proportions by definition.
Does this sound familiar to you're situation?
His only early symptom? fatigue and clumsyness...eroding into SOB.

Good thing he was visiting me at the hospital's (ER) research unit when he collapsed.
I know of NOONE else who has ever survived this Marfan collapse. Prevention is the only hope unless you are sitting in the ER visiting your cousin is what I learned. So I share this wisdom with you.
Get a physical including basline EKG and valve/carotid visualization
Does this sound familiar to you're situation?
U Porland, OR specialty is hearts. Two weeks later this heart specialty saved my dad too--because he heeded the new found wisdom just shared with you -- my dad got checked!!! Dad lives today! and still laughing!!!
