DIAGON ALLEY
okay since a bunch of our members/charachters are "meeting up" at Daigon Alley on "Wednesday" then we can use this post to do all the commenting and conversations like ..

xginnyxweasleyx*ginny walks into the Leaky Cauldron after Ron and looks around* ron - do you see neville?
ron__w__ *looks around* no i dont see him anywhere
_loonylovegood_ was he using floo powder? you know father did a report on how the flu system is used to kidnap people ...
[just using that as an example]

you know stuff like that. and i know its not wensday (sp?) but we can pretend. :)

Molly, Ron, Ginny Weasley and Hermione Granger arrived at the Leaky Cauldron at a quarter from noon on Wednesday. Molly- If you want to give me your list i'll go buy your things Hermione so you lot can wait you friends and hang around Hermione hand it to her. Molly leaves the place. The three of them sit down at a table, Ginny between the two of them since Ron seems quite angry at Hermione. For a moment they don't say a thing then: Hermione- Hey it's Luna! Hi Luna! Ron stayed silent while the three girls were talking. He was starting to be worried: WHERE were Harry and Ron? It was now 25 past noon. Just as he thought that a tall and skinny red headed man entering the place. Arthur Weaslet, his father. He was followed by a slim black haired, green eyed guy whose Ron knew really well; indeed it was Harry Potter ron's best friend. When Harry entered the room several people glared at him. Harry grinned impatiently: he was getting used to this kind of attention but did not like it more. He was glaring at the tables like he was looking for something... Ron- Oi! Harry! we're here! Harry's face lightened up as he finally saw his two best friends in the world: Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. They were sitting with Ginny (Ron's little sister) and Luna Lovegood a strange but finnaly nice and interesting girl who was in their same year at Hofwart, school of witchcraft and wizardry. *luna sits down next to hermione. ginny looks over at ron who is glaring evily at hermione. ginny rolls her eyes* ginny: hey luna im glad you could make it. luna: thanks for asking me to meet you here. ginny: youre welcome *stares at the door* luna: um, is there something interesting over there or are you waiting for someone? ginny: well its just....uhh..*face turns bright red as she glances at ron out of the corner of her eye* hermione: ginyn whats going on? ginny: *lowers voice* well i....er....you see...i kind of invited dean to meet us here-and he said he would. but hes late now, and im afriaid of ron might say ...... *looks over at ron who is staring right at her* ron: WHAT? *Cho Chang walked up Diagon Alley to a store front with her mother. She sent her mother in the store with a list. Her mother seemed more than willing to go off and be by herself. Despite Cho's best efforts to smile as her mother walked away, a split second later an intense look of worry shrouded her face as she pretended to walk away. Two steps later she turned around to look at her mother through the store window. But Mrs. Chang was lost in the sea of people inside. Cho continued her journey through the sea of wizards and witches filling the street. She swiftly cut right and arrived at an open door, emitting two very short witches, each laughing hysterically. She let them pass before entering through the door they had come out of, walking underneath a sign hanging from the top of the doorway that read The Leaky Couldron. It was mildly busy, as there were many magical families shopping for their children's return to Hogwart's throughout the alley. Off to the corner she spotted a group of plenty warm familiar faces. Luna Lovegood, Hermione Granger, Ronald Weasley, Ginny Weasley, and Harry Potter sat engaged in cheerful conversation at a table, their faces lit by the faint stream of light filtering in through a window. She paused for a minute, suddenly feeling slightly out of place. She shook her head and walked with a smile and bright eyes towards the table of her peers.* Cho: Hermione! Hermione over here! *Cho waved her hand a bit, but Hermione was currently laughing with the rest of the table apparently at something Ginny had just said. She continued towards the table. All of them had now taken notice of her arrival. With smiles still on their faces from the laughter, they each greeted Cho. Hermione stood up.* Hermione: Cho, I'm so glad you could make it! *Hermione and Cho embrace in a hug.* Ron: Yeah, nice to see you again Cho. Cho: You have no idea how good it feels to be back with Hogwarts folk. How are you all? *Everyone murmured an "I'm well," or an "I'm doing alright."* Harry: How are you, Cho? *Cho became slightly flustered. *whispers* were still going out....and yes, well, hes supposed to be coming today but hes really late, im starting to wonder if he dosent know where to meet me. luna - do you want to go look for him? ginny- umm .. *bites lip and looks at ron nervously* well, ID like to, but i dont know about ron-if we see dean i dont want him to be rude or anything. *looks at door anxiously agian* you know what - i think we should just go. cho would you like to come with us? *neville walks into The Leaky Cauldron looking for his friends. He sees all of them: Ginny, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Luna, and Cho sitting at a table* heres my list gran...could you get my things for me? *walks over to the table. Harry is sitting to the left of a very angry looking Ron who was glaring at an annoyed Hermione who was staring at her butterbeer like she was trying to set it on fire with her eyes. Ginny and Luna were amiditly chatting. Ginny looks up finaly aknowledging Nevilles arrivement* Ginny: hi there neville take a seat. we're just hanging out. He smirks and sits down at the bar, to wait as his father talks to another wizard. He wants them to notice him, but doesn't want to seem too desperate for attention. (Reply to this) (Thread)

*As Luna, Ginny, and Cho begin to walk towards the exit to look for Dean, Cho falls back a little and watches Luna and Ginny as they become engaged in some conversation. She suddenly feels out of place once more. Maybe she shouldn't be here. She looked around at all the people throughout the pub. Everyone looked so happy. She didn't know what was bothering her about the atmosphere but it was so hard to ignore. A bit before she reached the door, still looking around, she spots a familiar face. Draco Malfoy is sitting at the bar. He seems to be most pleased with himself, wearing his usual smirk. Through the window she sees Ginny and Luna walking away.* Cho: Hey Draco... look you and I have our differences and all. I mean, I know you don't care much for me or those I decide to befriend, but I'm just wondering... I hate to say it but I've never really felt so, well, unwanted before. Do you know what its like? Do you know how it feels to not have a place among anyone? It just makes me feel so terrible. See look at that, Ginny invited me to go with her and she and Luna don't even know I'm gone. Draco smiles, then quickly hides it with a smirk. "Yeah, I know how you feel. Lately, I feel I dont have any friends, anyone I can really trust, I always feel like someone is breathing down my neck trying to pressure me into becoming something I dont really want to be. I always feel awkward around all you goody too-shoes. I dont know, your just all so great at everything. So am I, but my father wont stop pestering me about becoming a death eat- uh..a better student. Bloody hell, what am I doing, I dont know what it is about you, but you make the truth get the best of me." Draco blushes and then turns away quickly. He thinks, "What am I doing! SHUT UP DRACO." *Cho's attentive face eases up a bit. Somehow as the words escaped Draco's mouth, her vigilance faded. This was not the Draco Malfoy she was used to.* Cho: Draco, are you feeling okay? *laughs* I mean, you're not yourself... *Cho thinks for a moment. Was Draco setting her up for some devious hurtful comeback, knowing she would be drawn in? Or was he being genuine? Cho looks at Draco as his smirk faltered a bit then to the table she sat at only minutes before, and thinks to herself, "Maybe the real Draco Malfoy isn't as bad as everyone thinks..."* (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Draco's father walks in the door and waltzes up to Draco. "Draco, we must leave soon, to buy your things of course. Quickly now." Draco, still embarasses by what just happened, turns towards Cho and smiles. "Well, I..er..I guess..I will see you at school then, yeh?" He blushes slightly, and then notices Harry giving him a nasty snare, he covers up his embarassment and stands up stick straight and smirks, once again. "Goodbye." He walks out of the Leaky Cauldron and heads for Diagon Alley to buy his school supplies. He is confused, happy, and suprised all at the same time. *Cho stands immediately from her seat as she watches Lucius Malfoy drag his soon by the arm out of the pub. Her face gets screwed up as she sees Draco try to look back.* Cho: *faintly* Bye Draco... *Luna and Ginny return, looking flustered. * Luna: Why'd you fall behind Cho? Ginny: What on earth did you talk to that git for? Why didn't you holler at us to wait for you? *Cho said nothing. She saw Draco glance at her as he disappeared from the window outside. She smiled, then shook her head and focused on the two glaring girls in front of her.* Cho: What? *She looks at them, trying to hide the realization of goodness within Malfoy from her face.
