Like All Stories, This Story's About A Girl..
A special one.. in every sense of the word!! here I present to you a plagerised entry from my buddy. Enjoy~
About a boy
This is the tale of the boy who sweats a lot. And it doesn't help that his Chinese name has a word' 汗' (which means perspiration) in it. So we shall call him Han.
And one of the nicest thing that happened to this boy was knowing a girl called Min.
They met when they were 9. When he transferred from another class, and was made to sit beside her. She decided he was quiet enough so she didn't really mind him. But she was wrong.
He actually talks a lot. *shocked look*
And he talked so much to Min and the other girls around him that he turned Min into a talkative girl in the eyes of the teachers. For once in her life Min got scolded for talking in class. She stared at him but he said that he was not the only one who talked to her and gave a nonchalant look.
He brought out the worse in her. Cos' she started punching people. Actually she just punched him.
The only time she didn't punch him was after recess. Cos' he came back all sweaty. And his seat would be wet cos' of it. His uniform too. It totally grossed Min out. And she laughed when in primary 6 the teacher made all the guys stand outside after recess cos' he said their sweatiness was distracting everyone. Actually she mainly laughed at Han.
So the only time he could get back at her was when he was all sweaty.
They hit each other in between lessons. Scolded each other and called each other names. But they also talked on the phone and met at the playground. The playground was where all the kids in their neighbourhood go to play, and the playground was right beside where Han lived. And if Min called loud enough and hard enough, his head would usually pop out from the window on the fourth floor.
They became buddies without realising it.
One day Han, Min, Hui and Kiang met to play badminton. And Han forced Min to bring her homework for him to copy so he could come out to play. I bet Han scored full marks for that piece of work k! But nevermind...
And one day, Min tore Han's Chinese textbook. Cos' she wanted to see it but he wanted to fight for it with her. The book ripped right down the middle. And for a moment neither of them spoke. For once in her life Min was kinda afraid. But she insisted it wasn't her fault. And the next few days was awkward silence.
And another few days later they forgot about it. At least they stopped talking about it. They couldn't resist not talking to each other at all. But till today they still remember it.
And yet another day, when Min was upset with the other guys who bullied her in class, she complained to Han, who became her spy to help her to get back at them. Of course they never succeeded. Who can win the mafia of the class? But the intent was all that was needed.
There are a hundred and one "one days...", a thousand and one memories they shared since they were 9, and a birthday card for every year they got older. The cards still keep coming, though Min moved so many times Han never forgets to send a card every year. The series of cards which they bought for each other. The giraffe and the bear.
And it will never stop.
So it's time for Min to say thank you to her buddy. Since 9, and still counting.
Of course they are so many other wonderful friends we had. Hui, Kiang, Li, Jon... some i met when i was only 7. But you're still my wonderful buddy. Always...
