It's a looong way down..
Very tired. One of the worst weekends ever. It's almost over. *whew* I'm starting to get very interested in taking fiddle lessons. I like fiddle music better than classical because it's mishapen and uneven. It can be spontaneious, happy, sad, and it makes you want to do a jig. I've taught myself a few songs already but I dont think I'll get the real feel of the style and technique if Im not showed how. Right now I only know four ornaments:
- 1st finger slides
-4th finger touch-ups
-bow ornaments: unever bow strokes
-trill touch-ups
Im trying to teach myself this one song that goes so so fast and has a guitar accompinment (sp?) lol so far ive only got the first 6 seconds down
Im mad at Mr. Cole for giving us this huge essay on a baaad weekend. Oh well. My parentals are coming home in four hours and they're bringing the laptop with them :D
time to skidaddle. bye

Learn "Devil Went Down To Georgia" by the Charlie Daniels Band, great song, lotsa fiddle-playing
