first off, i wanna say Good Job to steph to posing the question in the first place. GOOD JOB! lol
secondly... i do choose C) Not if it's a recent ex, because there's a double standard involved.
on one hand, the main arguement against dating a BF's ex is "You should be more considerate of what the other person feels." that's all well and good, but what about your feelings? i mean, if you're expected to give up your own happiness for a bud, why can't the Other Friend suck it up and let you date who you wanna date? in my opinion, it's not fair to be all "Finders Keepers" when you Found the person, and for some reason, you lost them. unless there's a truly SPECIAL set of circumstances, i say the Ex is free game if the breakup didn't occur recently.
whoa... sorry for the mini-debate there! i could have just said C, but you know me :-p i'm all about words and explanations.

hey steph! read the poll...hmm. It's really hard to decide between the four, but after thinking it through, I'd have to pick:
C. Not if it was a recent ex
But you know, the answer really depends on a case-by-case basis. It depends if the friend still has like, feelings for the ex, ya know? It's not cool to go behind a bud's back, or whatever. But chances are if it isn't a recent ex, and your friend says that it's totally okay with them and no harm's done, then I would. I mean, an ex from the 5th grade probably wouldn't be a big deal. Once again though, case by case basis. :/ so that's a hard question. But when it comes to relationships, friends come first! Try and make sure that your friendships aren't hurt when you go out with someone, but also remember: you can't always please everyone! lol.

id say C, i would, but not right away. because after all, they are not together anymore, and that is for a reason, so im thinking, if they are apart and are gonna stay apart, then the friend has right to date them. but if i knew it would hurt my friend, i wouldnt do it. it all depends on the friend and their feelings. hhmmm. tricky poll, good one steph! :-)

umm...i would pick C. Even if i had feelings for the guy, if my friend had just recently broken it off with her bf and still had feelings for him, then i wouldnt want to hurt her. Because my friends ALWAYS come first! Now if it was an ex from a while ago and they were over each other, then yea i'd go for it :)

um....I really don't know but I guess I'd say ....either A or C but i'll go with A.... the "hell ya" thing cus it doesnt seem like that big of a deal but thats just me
