I'm going to a very sandy place later this year. I'll be there for six months. And I'm not at all upset about it. It'll be one hell of an experience. Anybody want a "Who's Your Baghdaddy?" shirt while I'm there? I shit you not, the shirt exists.

Meeks! I miss you so! I'll email you later and tell you the exact date, but it's before Halloween. It won't be that bad - at least I'll making a nice pile of scratch while I have nowhere to waste any money. And you know we'll talk while I'm gone. By the way, where the heck ya been? Did you get the message I left on your answering machine?

It should just be six months...the Air Force is a little better about that stuff than the Army, plus with the type of billet that I'm filling I'm not too worried. I'll be attending the the class in Florida after I get back from Iraq.

My dad took the news a lot worse than I thought he would. It's weird, because I was never his "little girl" or anything - that didn't happen until my little sisters came along ten years later - so I didn't think he'd get that upset or worried. I still haven't been able to talk to my mom about it, so like an asshole I left a message on my brother's cell phone telling him that he has to tell her. We'll see how that one goes.
