Well, let's see. I haven't been up to much lately. Casey and I have been talking everyday! It's progressing really nice. We are taking things slow, and that is what I wanted to do.
Yeah, I know, it's early, but this is about the only time I have to update anymore. Oh, well. I love you guys nonetheless.
Um...school...is good. I have had band practice a freakin' lot because October is competition month. We had a competition a couple of Saturdays ago, and we have one this Saturday and next Saturday! Whew, talk about tired!
I think I've narrowed my applications to my top three schools now: 1. Juilliard, 2.Oberlin, 3. UGA. I'm pretty sure I'm getting into UGA, but if I get into one of the other schools, then I'm not sure of where I'll go, because I am probably going to end up at UGA no matter what. What if I decide to change my major one year? I'd be stuck at a music conservatory, and after spending a crapload of money on it, no. I don't need to do that. And with HOPE, music scholarships, Federal Pell Grant, FAFSA, and Work-Program scholarships, I won't have to pay a dime at UGA! That's scary. I'm not sure of anything! I took the SAT this past Saturday, and I'll know next Friday how I did. EEEEKK! College apps are scaring me!

It's good to apply to more than one college...you get more to choose from, trust me i know. Right now it sounds like UGA is your best bet b/c of the money factor. Good Luck! Bye. ~Josh (Reply to this) (Thread) |
