    Current mood: drained

    Exhale - Inhale
    *
There are some people to whom I'd like to say

"Don't love me. I won't be around forever and I'm not worth it"

There are other people to whom I'd like to say

"If you tell me you love me, I could live forever."

Deep down I think we're all just waiting to die. We go through the motions every day.

We inhale. We exhale. Then we repeat this.

    Inhale

    Exhale

    J u s t B r e a t h e

    In

    Out

    Breathe

The world is too much for our little selves and we think time will solve all our problems and it won't.

The trick is to keep breathing and we're still practicing.

    Inhale.

    Exhale.

Check out my little poem: http://www.blurty.com/talkpost.bml?journal=monkey_knight&itemid=9644

I'm sorry that you're struggling a little. Are you writing it out somewhere? I imagine this would be natural to you, but I thought I'd ask. You must know how it helps to delineate your thoughts, even if they are such you don't care to expose them even to good friends and personal intimates, just writing to yourself, sorting out your emotions, ratiocinating from there. If you like, it could be good to write to get feedback, too. Try to take it easy, honey. It seems to me that we often make things worse than they have to be, since we feel the weight directly on our shoulders.

Take care,
Monk

Ah at this point my shoulders stoop - I will be OK thanks for caring. I really mean that!

Hey... weren't you the guy who Christina kicked off her friend's list for being too creepy?

I prefer to think that there was a misunderstanding, with her and her friend being so young. I graciously accepted responsibility, since I should have known better than to think that we could relate on any but the most casual terms.

breathe in, breathe out.....
every milisecond is an eternity....
and life is so beautiful, no matter what....
your post reminded me of kate bush and her song 'breathe'

(i'm GLAD to see a post from you....)

It was hard to think of what to post - my brain is on overload - so are my emotions - but I felt that I had to write something - anything. Kinda like notes to myself.

The world is too much for our little selves and we think time will solve all our problems and it won't.

A friend of mine liked to think that time wounds all heels. But don't ever forget to breathe, anyway.

"After great pain, a formal feeling comes--
The Nerves sit ceremonious, like Tombs--"
more

This poem has always, always helped me. I hope you can draw strength from it too.

I will try - thank you so much for posting the link - I haven't read that poem in years...

As Freezing persons recollect the Snow--
First - Chill - then Stupor - then the letting go--

To be at that point seems impossible at the moment - but I'm still here - hanging by a thread it seems.

hey, I am finally catching up on people's journals and this entry in particular is speaking to me now. It's really nice to read something I haven't been able to articulate. It resonates nicely :) It sounds like your life is pretty fluid right now and I can totally relate... Reminds me of that song by Telepopmusik called Just Breathe, it's the kind of song that would be amazing background music in some posh wine bar in Europe or something. I have also recently been diagnosed with asthma so...in a long and rambling way, thanks for saying what I meant to say. xx :)
