Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Add to Topic Directory  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry

    Current mood: cheerful
Current music:fountains of wayne; stacy's mom

    to the days when i thought i knew;
i'm the 6th person to do this probably.
Mixz m0onflower, you're dangerous with a handful of nostalgia. (brit accent) dangerous, i say.
    thanks, pretty pretty you.

    now isn't that malabo?

High school: De La Salle Zobel.
    Class of: 2002.

    1. Nickname in high school? Candy. Kendeng. Oi to some.
    2. Sport you were into? (walks away) is the question done yet?
    3. Had a barkada? How many were you? haha, i had 4 barkadas i think. that makes me congenial -- utot. :P 10, 4, 16, and 8 respectively.
    4. Best subject? Filipino, English, Music, Computer. (can't draw, can't add. sulat lang nang sulat! hehe.)
    5. Worst subject? Math. oh, and Physics.
    6. A teacher you owe life lessons to? Sir Llaguno. Mrs. Iya, Mrs. Castillo, Mrs. Tuatis, Mrs. Padua and Sir Buddy.
    7. A teacher you wanna kick in the ass? Sir Degs and Ms. Matic.

    Describe...
    8. Freshman year:
if your shoes are Doc Martens, cool ka. hehe.
ate taho while we took the exams. was Chubi's classmate. first and last time i was class president. hung out over at Gela's almost everyday. got cussed down by a Sophomore -- in the corridor pa talaga. oh yeah, and somebody wrote FUCK YOU MAE in one of the cubicles, napraning ako. hehe.
    9. Sophomore year: if marunong kang tumakas, mas cool ka.
takas for 2 whole months -- for ATC, neoprints, and a late-night vcd session at Stef's. first honor ako, hahaha! was REALLY studying. hung out with Stef, Janina janina and John. sang infront of the whole batch. my first major distraction; a cellphone. the second major distraction; a boy. ate lunch in the classroom, takas of course. made really good friends.
    10. Junior year: if ikaw si Candy, di ka cool.
was terribly lax on my academics. had to take remedial for Chem and Geom. missed one long test in Trig cos i was late. bombed Janina janina for something stupid. started eating 2.5 cups of rice for lunch. was ass to ass with Belay. had ice buko popsicles everyday. wala, i just slid down the grading scale. puro kaibigan lang.
    11. Senior year: cool, definitely. hehe for the lack of a better word.
loved Sir LL's class. finally got the knack of speaking infront of people. got the EIC position for the yearbook. had numerous pigout sessions with Yam howiwonder. crossed seas and hiked mountains for Calculus. absolutely hated Physics. came up with Bakas. cheated Accounting with James. did rounds for the yearbook religiously.

    12. Your best friend was? i had one too many.
    13. Your worst friend was? haha, wala. no nuisance friends.
    14. Cafeteria food sucked? hell no. i loved Racefoods for everything.
    15. Most hilarious school rule? skirts should be two inches below the knee. socks should cover your ankles (i think i'm the only one objecting, hehe). phones should be turned off -- not set in silent (kaya nga nauso silent e).
    16. Wore uniforms? white blouse, camisole, green-blue-white-yellow-red plaid skirt. (image)
    17. How was the prom? third year was okay. fourth year stank.
    18. Who was prom king and queen? i honestly can't remember.
    19. Any achievements? school paper and the yearbook.
    20. Were you popular? no.
    21. Best song that reminds you of high school? haha I'm Real Remix. Hanee's responsible for that.
    22. Unforgettable high school crush? Edward, the 6th grader.
    23. Most embarrassing moment? my friend talked me into taking a dare back in third year yata. i was supposed to go inside the boys bathroom and fix my hair on normal speed. it was lunch time, so there weren't any students around. i went in, she was outside laughing at me -- tapos biglang may nagflush na toilet sa loob. let's just leave it at that, shall we?
    24. Memory you'd like to forget about high school? bawling like a baby in the corridor, hehe.
    25. Best memory? Bakas, the Drugz movie. and yeah, working on the yearbook.
    26. Any regrets? bawling like a baby? hehe.
    27. Would you like your "future child" to attend your high school? oh holy yes.
    28. Were the bathrooms clean? steady. not squeaky clean, but at least they didn't stink.
    29. How were the lunch ladies? hehe, my best friends? they were a-okay.
    30. Lyrics would best describe your high school life: "di ko malimutan kung kailan ko natikman, ang tamis ng iyong halik, yakap na napakahigpit.." hahaha crazy. i heard it nung Linggo ng Wika, then my seatmate kept on singing it everyday.

my senior class had the BEST class picture; the most creative, the most unique, and the most bangis. if you didn't click on 'image' to see the uniforms, i suggest you scroll up and hit the link.
and why, you ask, did it make it in the yearbook?

    (winks)
    now you know.

live Jesus in our hearts? forever.
    nakampoo.

hello there, Kych. (naks, HELLO THERE. :P)
my mom was a big fan of literature, kaya when i was younger tinuruan niya narin ako. tapos yon, pickup lang nang pickup from monthly theme writings for school. outlet ko rin kasi magsulat, kahit walang sense. hehe.

talaga? me, innocent?! papa-frame ko na yung picture.
i'm the third one from the right. :P

wow. my mom also read a lot, not just books but articles as well. she even made a HUGE scrapbook of magazine and newspaper clippings, just for us. she wasn't into literature per se, but she loves everything articulate-- whether it's a speech by some famous person, or a memoir written beautifully. and now i understand why she keeps forcing us to read everyday during summertime. i didn't like reading before because i was active as a kid and chose outdoorsy activities. i even remember wishing that the Young Children's Encyclopedia-- all 62 volumes of hardbound glory-- would get stolen or sold. hehe.

and yay, i guessed right! :)

my mom read a lot, too. that, and she had tons of books around her for 17 years. head librarian kasi e. talagang she forced us to read when we were little, i only appreciated that when i was 10 yata or something.
favorite books namin, Dr. Seuss. hehehe he was my hero. :P

galing mo a, Kych! how'd you know it was me?
uyyy, fishing. hehe.
