i go on walking with blisters on my feet;
i know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. some people I know relatively well. i read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. some of you I hardly know at all. perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. but you friended me and i thank you.

but here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. any old thing at all. just so the next time i see your name i can say: 'ah, there's so and so...she likes alphabetising her CD collection.'

i'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. yes, even you people who I know really well. then post this in your own journal.

1. takot din ako sa ipis. naiiyak ako sa ipis, pero sa lalaki/pag-ibig hindi. 2. nung grade 4 ako, inaaway ko lahat ng kabarkada ko.. kahit walang reason. tapos gusto ko magsosorry sila sa akin. HAHAHA. lupet noh! pero shempre, di na ngayon. 3. love na love ko ang Spice Girls dati, even if it means asking my classmate to cut out articles from her BOP magazines (which i don't buy!) or going to the palengke to buy their posters for P10! haha. 4. i looked like crap on my Gr. 7 grad pic. kadiri ew. buti nalang halos lahat ng kabatch ko pangit din don. 5. first line of 7.. 2nd year HS, history 79. umiyak ako pagkabigay ko sa nanay ko ng card ko. hahaha. 6. first kagaguhan.. grade 4, cheating, D in conduct. haha. nangopya ba naman ng letter to Chirac sa mga classmate. my mother literally beat my to death with her tsinelas. kinorner nya ko! I'm glad you posted this. I think this is a good way to get to know some unfamiliar blurty friends. Here's something about myself: I love music, practically anything that sounds good to me. I found it hard to find someone who shared the exact same taste in music as I do, but when I found that person it was amazing. I felt free in a way... 001. you live close to where i live. 002. i love guys who play the guitar and/or the drums. 003. i collected candymag when i was back in pinas. 004. i don't getting fat. and i am gaining weight, so i hate myself right now. 005. i love journalism/literature. 006. when i read stories about a person having everything she wants (ie: perfect family, nice house etc), and something happens all of a sudden, i cry and i develop a grudge on the person who ruined the harmony. [01] when i write, i flip my notebook to the side, so that the lines are totally verticle. [i`m right-handed, btw.] [02] i like to count the steps as i walk up or down a staircase. [03] i only like tropical skittles. i take out the blue ones [cause i don`t like them] and sometimes the orange ones. i then group the other flavors/colors together and eat them one group @ a time. [04] i like watching my feet when i walk. first "love" ko si patrick garcia.. inlove na inlove ako noon that i even made him one of his first unofficial websites.. (i was 14 at the time..) i went as far as stalking his mom and his sister.. (hehe, online lang ha!).. i finally met him when i turned 18 and i was so starstruck, i didn't (um, COULDN'T!) say anything. i just sorta stared at him and giggled while he tried to make small talk.. when he hugged me goodbye, i wanted to die right there and then. hayyy.. teenybopper memories! hahahaha! -- i first failed during our comprog2 class when i was in my 2nd term of stay in lasal.. ironic coz.. i had the highest mark for the 2nd quiz.. i got a 91! bad3p ung project.. c programming in linux.. i got a -1.. accidentally naoverwrite ko ung file ko.. i blame it on the command PUT and GET! i hate linux! -- first crush.. when i was in prep.. haha! i had these twin classmate.. jc and forgot.. crush ko sila! hahha! 01. i'm the bitchiest person you'll ever know when PMS strikes. 02. i am not mataray, as some people might think. 03. i had westlife in my cd collection-- HAD, being the cooperative word. 04. i was a HUGE fan of the moffatts. kasama ako doon sa mga baliw na nagsira ng door ng hard rock the 1st time they went here. 05. i cried sa last part ng charlie's angels. the first one where they were at the beach then cameron asked, "hey charlie! so when are we ever going to see you?" tapos charlie replied, "soon angels. for now, i've got some treasures to look after." then nakatingin siya sa kanilang tatlo-- basta, yun. naiyak ako dun. Hmm. Okay. Some random things about me. - I actually DO alphabetize my CD collection. - I talk to inanimate things. Sometimes I walk into telephone poles, and apologize to them. - I'm absolutely mad for purple, I could chew on the word for the rest of my life. I love the way it trips on your tongue when you draw it out seductively, like a cat might. I love the way it just winds up tight if you extend the u in it like a little kid might. I love the way just saying the word makes the back of your tongue arch up to touch the roof of your mouth, and then collapse so the tip of your tongue presses against the back of your upper front teeth. And the color itself draws my eyes whenever it passes my line of vision, be it direct or peripheral. - I like books and movies with blood and gore and sometimes even the kinkiness of it. I like vampires and werewolves and all sorts of things that go bump in the night. Faeries aren't my cup of tea, unless you're speaking of the Daoine Sidhe. AND when I remember to be, I'm a mythology buff. - I am a storehouse of useless information. Like, did you know your weight increases when you have your period because your body holds more water? And did you know that dolphins and their ilk will never drown, not even trapped in fish nets, because they consciously control their breathing, and therefore a dolphin that dies in a fish net will have died of suffocation, holding its breath until it kicked the bucket? I also have this really weird ability to memorize song lyrics and keep em in my head for ages and ages (like, if I knew the words to a song in the early nineties, I would probably only need slight prompting to sing it now... I can prove this to you. Ask me to sing Wilson Philips songs.) - I have recently developed an addiction to milk. Fresh milk, strawberry milk, melon milk, chocolate milk, whatever. - My egotism defines me. And egotism defines the way i view other people. I believe in the intrinsic egotism of every being capable of thought. People never do anything that will not in some way put themselves at an advantage, no matter how obscure the manner in which they are benefited is. - Some of my friends believe I am the Antichrist. whoa. that was freaky. i, too, am a mythology buff. i enjoy researching and memorizing greek and egyptian mythology the most. i`m facsinated by vampires and the like [which include the bloody, gory, kinky movies and books as well]. i have this really weird ability to memorize song lyrics and keep em in my head for ages and ages. Cool! I was like ten when I read The Odyssey for the first time, and I didn't understand a lot of it, so I kept having to look things up and do extra research... Ha. I was such a little nerd. Anyway... I've been hooked since then. Though my interest in the Greek pantheon isn't what it used to be. I like Egyptian mythology, and I've developed an interest in Celtic and Mesopotamian myths and lore as well. Hehehe. I know a little of Norse, and a little about Native American and Indian lore.. Hmm. I like mythological creatures. Yun lang. Vampires are cool. If you're into gory, kinky books with a fun edge of sarcasm... go for the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton. :) Okay, that song thing is just freaky, huh? I can play songs in my head like a radio, sometimes it's disturbing. That done... Wanna link blurties? hehehe.
