    Current mood: mellow

    Lord, sana nandito siya;
i did the ocho ocho on the dance floor last night.
call me ridiculous, i don't fucking care. however, in hopes of changing your mind, may i just give you the information that my crazy stunt scored me a pair of black pearl studs.

things i do for vanity. i, myself, shake at the very thought sometimes.

the food was okay, in a three-trips-to-the-buffet-table kind of way. after my second stump of mashed potatoes, i could already feel the fat building their camps on my thighs.
the room was beautiful. Radisson's ballroom. tablecloths all green and red, a small christmas tree on top, plus they didn't have the AC so high up too.
the band was WOW. we're talking about sheer talent here. kahit Christmas song nila, okay e. i'm just thankful they didn't sing my LSS of two straight days -- it's beginning to look a lot like KREES!mas. instead, like some sort of telepatheticshaggydelic power, they do Too Close.
Too Close big giant HUMONGOUS dose of adolescent nostalgia Too Close.
that song can make anybody feel young for at least 3 minutes. i could remember laughing at the memory of green plaid skirts, ankle high socks and leather mary janes.
it's funny how it takes me back to Dusit Hotel or Makati Shangri La, in that same situation of sitting down and dancing in my seat. syempre minus the gown and sneakers. (yes, you read. i had a gown on, AND sneakers. haha how funk.) pero makapal na mukha ko ngayon e, i eye my spot on the dance floor, and i do MY Too Close.
ohoy. kangkong candy, here we go.

now i have an idea how it feels like to be torpe. i was a boy last night, and dancing was my "prospect". it's one of those moments where phrases such as "ay, wag na nga lang" and "sige na nga" are indescribably overused.
YMCA, september, shake your groove thing, swing, tango, cha cha, freestyle. name it, i wrecked it. nobody complained, hehe. of course the ocho ocho, my "season-ender". there was a nurse who did it, too. she got a handkerchief, and i got earrings. hahahaha i'm fucking mean. you have to forgive me, this doesn't happen everyday. i made my parents proud. *snicker* right, like that really happened.

to sum it all up, this christmas party was good good pretty pretty. i didn't get shitfaced, but i'm sure you're all familiar with my natural drunkness' ability to ooze out once in a while.

so i guess it really is beginning to feel a lot like christmas.
only until i come home and recognize the longing.
    i'm back to square one.

    Lord, sana nandito siya.

One puls one equals two...

Two plus two equals four

Four plus four equals eight...

Doblehin ang eight..

Hehehe!
