    My Big Fat Update.
    Oh. My, Goodness.

I forgot all about you, Blurty. I'm sorry I like Livejournal more than you.

But never fear. I'm here to tell you whats been going on in my life, for anyone who remotely cares. I will give the abridged version...

I lost my job due to budget cuts.

    I cried. Alot.

Then I went to Washington DC for ten days, around Thanksgiving. Uh, read my livejournal for that story.

I've sworn off air travel for awhile.

I sat front row at a Big and Rich/Gretchen Wilson concert. I have a chunk of Rich's busted guitar. And his bottle of water. *sigh*

Then I sat third row at a JASON MRAZ concert...I didn't meet him, no. It crossed my mind, as I stood next to his tour bus...but, I let it go. It was too cold outside and I might've been waiting for hours. But the concert was phenomenal, he was just magical, and I had such a good seat. I can't wait to see him again.

I spent about $150 I didn't have, and I will be paying my parents back for months on end.

My best friend was flown to Japan yesterday, by her Air Force boyfriend, to visit him at the base. She'll be gone for about 10 days. I'm lonely.

Christmas was nice. Me and the cousin are no longer speaking. I don't think we miss each other much, either.

My dad has promised to get my car running again. We'll see.

    Beauty school, here I come.

I also might move myself to Lakeland Florida within the next year or so.

In addition to my intense love for Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Donovan and Green Day, I have now added to the list: Fall Out Boy. I have a fangirl crush on the lead singer, Patrick Stump. I love an underdog, the geeks who didn't get laid in high school, but have grown up to be HOT. Stump, being one, among the others like John Cusack and Micheal Anthony Hall.

You skank (that is a term of endearmeant)! You up and left me! I was thinking..."Did she go to Washington and never come back? :O" Glad to hear you are back though!

And even gladder to hear you had a fantabulous time at the Mr. Mraz show :) He is a beautiful specimen live isn't he? Unfortunately, I haven't been able to see him this year, but I will next! :D I think...o_O

Anywho, I have a new journal...although I'll be posting in this one as well...I'm only allowing a selected few take viewing to this one...thebluepineapple.blogspot.com...It's in its beginnings, but it will be fabulous whence it gets started...I hope! lol

Cheers :)

I did have a fantabulous time at the Mraz concert, for sure. I hope you do get to see him again, because the live version of "Plane"...oh wow, its like a religious experience. The Lovely James Blunt was supposed to be opening for him, which I was REALLY looking forward to, because I had bought his CD so I could get him to sign it, but I guess he cancelled. I was disappointed. But Tristan Prettyman opened for him, and as much as I want to hate the chick, I CAN'T! She's so damn adorable. And they sang a Christmas song they wrote together called "All I Want For Christmas Is Us." and it made everyone in the theater go "awwwwww." *sigh* He promised he'd come back to see us soon...god I hope he does! He's beautiful and just so ...so...you know what I'm trying to say.

Aww, I want to see Tristan play - I'm a tres big fan of her music. They should have played Shy That Way...that is cute as hell.

I actually was fortunate enough to go see Mr James Blunt play last month in Toronto and he was spectacular. Just him, his guitar and his piano man (whatever his name was). I was actually fortunate enough to also meet him and get him to sign my CD and take a picture with me! He is honest to god the cutest thing I've ever seen. However, slightly on the short side (well, shorter than I am...). He's beautiful though :) So if tours near you, go see him - I paid double the price to see him by buying tickets from a scalper, but it was so worth it!

awwww I'm jealous! He seems like a sweet guy. Yanno, when I got his CD, I wasn't too crazy about it at first. But then I really listened to it, and it just blew me away. "Goodbye My Lover" breaks my heart! "Tears and Rain" is my favorite, though.

What I really love is how instead of the loud "Parental Advisory" sticker, it just has a proper little note that says it contains "lyrics of an adult nature."

I'm so sorry (I always hate it when people say this to something for which they were in no way responsible, but there's no better way to put it for the situation) that you lost your job. Sometimes, a situation is easier to accept when it was inevitable (budget cuts), but it never really sets in like that until much later. As you know, I totally get what you experienced and I'm pulling for you (God, where am I getting these clichés?) to move on to bigger and better things soon. It's never easy, but it wouldn't be worth it if it were.

Hey, points for the DC trip and Jason Mraz concert, though. I'm hoping those took the edge off a little.

Yeah, the trip and concert helped a lot...but temporarily. I'm stuck in a rut now, the funk has decended on me. I'm kinda broke, and I get depressed so easily. So I'm hoping things will start looking up once I get back in school.
