I asked God...!!!
I received this in an email :

I asked God to send me a friend
He sent u.
I asked God to take away my pain, God said no
It is not for me to take away, but for u to give up.
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole, God said no
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.
I asked God to grant me patience, God said no
Patience is a by-product of tribulations, it is not granted, it is earned.
I asked God to give me happiness, God said no
I give u blessings, happiness is up to u.
I asked God t spare me suffering, God said no
Sufferings draw u apart from worldly cares and brings u closer to me.
I asked God to make my spirit grow, God said no
U must grow on ur own, but i will prune u to make u fruitful.
I asked God for all the things i might enjoy in life, God said no
I will give u life so tht u may enjoy all things.
I asked God to help me love others as much as he loves me
God said Ah! finally u have the idea.
