For some reason that I have yet to determine, I get more sexual propositions and bizzaro social interactions on my way to work then any other time. Not that I'm complaining, but on occasion it makes me just that much later. This morning, some dude on the street was grabbing his crotch nonstop, and I couldn't help but notice. He started talking to me about some nonsense, which essentially translated into a come on. Nothing happened, but it was amusing to know that it could have...

I had a really interesting conversation at lunch today about stem cell research and transgenic crops. I think it's cool that Nancy Reagan is all up on the stem cell TIP. Maybe she'll actually do something useful after all. Instead of starting a War on Drugs when she's falling off a stage in a auditorium, because her PainKillers kicked her ass. It's the dishonesty I hate the most. Courtney Love may be a disaster, but at least she's glad to tell you all about it. Republicans like to act like their shit don't stink. Hypocrisy seems to be a big sell in this country.

The other night I was watching George Carlin on HBO (who is fucking hilarious by the way) and he was making some really good points on how our language has become completely sanitized. For example, we no longer have an "Old Folks Home" we have a Retirement Community, people aren't "crazy", they're mentally ill, we don't use "toilet paper", we use bathroom tissue, and the list went on and on. All this bullshit political correctness is undermining not only our outlets for expression, but even our modes of thought. Read 1984 and then compare notes!

I'd rather give someone the freedom to call me a faggot, and keep my freedom of speech and ideas. I'm a big boy, I can deal with it. It's getting to the point in this country where just expressing a thought, or a FANTASY even, is illegal. When did an abstract concept become so threatening? People are so fucking scared of any kind of original thought that might be considered dissident in this country that it makes me think about moving to Canada. Aren't we supposed to be creating an ideal here??

People are truly chickenshit these days when it comes to speaking thier minds . I understand the need and ultimate value of tact , but if a person isnt presenting themselves in an unwashed way , then you're not getting a full deal . I'd much rather know that someone thinks i'm a crass ass cracker.....at least I know what direction they're coming from . Political correctness is society's way of kissing the asses of those they'd rarely care to understand....for fear of bieng judged by another . I prefer to be outspoken . I'm not going to speak out in a disrespectful way , nor will I offer opinions to those that dont want to entertain them in the first place . However , if someone wants to know me better by asking socially sensitive questions , well you better fuckin believe i'll tell it like I see it . If one day another person's take on things makes more sense than mine , i'll consider it and weigh the facts i've been privy to .
