its hard to pretend forever, even for the people that practice every single day of their lives. you can teach a cat to bark. or a dog to purr for that matter. nothing will ever make a person fly with wax wings or ever lasting gobstoppers run the empire. its all like a picture book. one big happy picture book. with smiley faces on every page. every time you turn the page it burns to ashes in your hands and you want to express pain but nothing happens. you just smile, because you know that its only one little page and it doesnt really make a difference! right? but everytime someone turns a page another little piece of life is burned. millions of people turn the pages. millions of ashes are beyond the cover along with the tears and anger and pain. and the world smiles. because it is happy. everyone is happy. everyone is perfect. and the world turns on.
