Well I just got back together with my ex from over a year ago and I was wondering if someone here knows any lyrics about being happy about being back together with an ex, or just luving your boyfriend and not wanting to let go kinda stuff... 	you're not gonna find happy-got-back-together-with-my-boyfriend lyrics on an emo site. emo is about heartbreak and depression and break ups. listen to some punk rock, my dear. none of this emo shit. or if you just want any old song that'll make you happy, listen to "walkin on sunshine" by katrina and the waves. now THAT's happy music. EMO=EMOTION. it can be any emotion, doesnt neccesarily have to be bad. geez. anyway, medicine by glasseater is good, louder than words by unsung zeros, hands down by dashboard confessional, existilism (sp?) on prom night by straylight run, tiger lily by matchbook romance, etc. i think youll really like the lyrics to medicine. hope it helps. :) p.s anyone who thinks emo is ONLY for depressed souls, your an ignorant moron and need to shut the fuck up. cheers! hahaha hear my laughter. i used to listen to emo. i even like some of it still. i know not all the lyrics are depressing. but have you ever been to an emo show and looked around you? you can tell an emo kid by looking at 'em. emo kids are emotional - yes it means they can get really happy and excited just like anyone else. but the whole up and down rollercoaster emotional ride just isn't what it's made out to be -- TOUGHEN UP and sing about what matters in the world. 	Emo is emotional. With that in mind any type of music can be emotional. Happy, sad, whatever. Don't limit it to depression. I've seen many "happy" songs posted on this site. Look around some more if you haven't seen them.. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
