my name is stacey.

this is where i'm going to say random facts about myself:
i'm 17 years old. i live in canada. i'm blanking on what to say right now. i love ballet and i've been dancing since i was 4.
my best friends keep me going. i hate mismatched socks because it makes me feel uneven. i like typing properly but hate capitals. i'm very naive and i can't decide anything for myself. i don't give good first impressions. i don't usually start talking to someone unless they're friendly to me first. i love disney classics more than present-day movies. my favourites are sleeping beauty and alice in wonderland and thumbelina. except thumbelina isn't disney. sometimes i wish my life was a musical and everyone would break out into song and dance at the same time, and know all of the steps. i attach songs to specific people, then get mad when those songs are ruined for me. i don't remember life before my ipod. i stay up at night and then sleep during the day. i always feel like i'm waiting for something really amazing or really terrible to happen. i don't know what i want to do when i grow up, but i do know that i can't wait to get out of this town.

now this is the part where i say some of my favourite music:
alexisonfire, ani difranco, the beatles, bright eyes, brand new, coldplay, death cab for cutie, the format, hellogoodbye, jack johnson, john mayer, jack's mannequin, metric, motion city soundtrack, ok go, the new pornographers, the postal service, say anything, something corporate, stars, sufjan stevens, the weakerthans.
and a whole lot more.
