tons o' fun....
i definitely have to begin this weblog by apologizing to the all the stanfurd-onians and fans of the tree, actually not apologizing but more of a, "YA YOU GUYS SUCK!". ok that was good. so my weekend has been ok, it was really good this afternoon when i found out about the CAL vs. stanfurd game. now i guess i'm just doing ok. i have one question to ask every single person in the online world. what is the meaning of life? i know it's a hypotethical and me saying it sounds really stupid. but i would really like to know, and i do not want anyone to respond with some sort of reply that contains religion or god. religion is so ambiguous and arguments for it can not stand against theories or arguments. so i know all you readers (rozi, cynthia, lloyd, heun, spanx, pris....man that list was short!) let me know something. oh ya and if you read my blurty let me know something, cuz i'm confused and tired. actually i'm really really really tired, but i can't sleep, it's really weird and i think there's something wrong with me...ionno what it is, but it sucks. so i'mma lay in my bed until my eyes decide to close. good nite world.

oh ya, CAL beat stanfurd today in the 106th big game. it was great! F--- STANFURD, GO BEARS!

Ok, dude, your a crazy guy, let me just say. Asking what the meaning of life is, is like asking how big the universe is. Heun and I took a whole class on this last summer, the Literature of Existential, and Edan even said the first day that the question you just asked is the same question people have been asking themselves since the beggining of time. Many conclusions have been made, who will ever be able to prove them? Some could be that we are here just to live up to goals made by ourselves and by others, and thats it. Some could be that there is no meaning in life. Some are from the religious perspective with heaven and all that shit, living a good life and whatnot. And others could be that we are here simply to work hard and provide so that the next generation lives any better. But who knows what the fuck is up, I sure as hell don't. I'm just goin through my life, and thats all I know man, trying to figure out the meaning of life, I think, is pointless, because we will never figure this phenomena out, and its just a waste of time that we could be using doing way more chiller shit. straight up man ~spanx(Reply to this) (Thread) |

Mmm...I dont think I agree with Isaac about doing what you want w/ life. If that were true, people would be doing whatever they wanted and there would just be chaos in the world because they wouldn't be looking at what duties they have to others, what responsibility they need to fulfill, how their actions affect others. And this is not to get too philosophical but I feel that these things have a great deal to do with the meaning of life because how u act determines the meaning of your life. of what you have done. I went to Borders today, and i was just worried about what problems I'd been having with some friends of mine and one of my friend and I are standing in line at the cafe and this guy behinds us starts talking to us. at first we were really reluctant to talk to him beczuse he was asking us what we do, what school we go to, yadda yadda. and then we asked him. he had just gotten back from teh war in iraq three weeks ago, and this man admittied he was very disconnected. he seemed disconnected. and it just hit me right then; here i am, a college girl, yapping away about what problems i'm having w/ one of my friends and here is someone who hsa just faced death, poverty, sadness, trying to get his life back in order. i think my point is its really easy to figure out what life is all about sitting in your cozy home, watching tv or chatting with your friends. but to find out what the measning of life is, what the meaning of YOUR life is, i think you actually have to get out and EXPERIENCE life. experience others' lives. that's how i feel you can understand the meaning of your life, by looking at others' lives and assessing where you are in the world. that was my shpeal...and written in quite haphhazardly but i hope u understand what i mean. ~Rozi(Reply to this) (Thread) |
