I don't know if you believe in ghosts. I saw one least night. I should say I think I saw one.

My bathroom door closes by itself. So I have been joking for years that the bathroom ghost closes the door.

I read every night when I go to bed. Last night I am laying there and see something out of the corner of my eye. I take a look, and there is a boy about 10 years old standing. Blurry and fuzzy. I could tell that he was wearing old fashiioned clothes like from the 30's or 40's. He/it was there for only a couple of seconds then vanished. Strange, how he was just standing there looking at me.

OK, go ahead and laugh, tell me it was my mind playing tricks on me, that it was my imagination. I have been telling myself the same thing since I saw it. But it seemed so bloody real.

And NO, I was not asleep and dreaming.

I don't think you are crazy at all. I lived in a haunted house for over a year as a child. My sister and I would have the same nightmares. She would wake to a dark figure standing at the end of her bed. Once when our family was downstairs we heard a coughing upstairs then walking down the stairs. We later found out that the man who built the house died from turberculosis and was buried on the land. Also when my grandfather passed away, I awoke to find him standing at the end of my bed. He smiled gently then faded away. This was a 1:12 am... 20 minutes later we got a call from the hospital saying that he had passed away at 1:12am. So no.. not crazy... He probably isn't really aware of you, just going through the motions of whatever was normal for him. If I were you I'd look into the history of your dwelling. You may be surprised at what you find. 	Thanks for your kind words. I was truly hoping I wasn't losing my mind. It was weird to say the least. Not scary or anything like that, just strange. That's touching story about your grandfather. 	Hi Rena. I don't think you would have been scared at all. It just stood there for about 2 or 3 seconds then kind of faded out. There was wasn't any movement. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
