I feel stupid, but I know it won't last for long.
Why is my dome light on?
Isn't it supposed to be?
No, it should've turned off
Maybe the switch is flipped or something.

[Unlocks car. Turns car on. Plays with dome light switches. Dome light remains on.]
Well, crap my battery will get drained.
Just disconnect the battery.
[Pops open hood. Realizes car is very hot and it's raining out.]
Can you give me a jump in the morning?
Yeah. Maybe it's a short in the doors? Here I'll wipe them off. [Wipes doors. Dome light still on]
Ok, we'll leave and when we come back maybe it'll be magically fixed.
[Leaves. About 5 hours pass]
Hey! It's off. [Cranks car on. Dome light remains on.]
Maybe we will have to take it in tomorrow
Ok, I'll come get you around noon.

[Goes upstairs. Types in "Ford mustang 2004 dome light problem" First link reads "Before you blame me for being a blonde, I've messed with the headlight switch. All the way left clicks, and that's what the domelights on is supposed to be, but it makes no difference." ]

[Goes downstairs. Turns headlight switch to right. Dome light turns off.]
