    easter :-)
A very Happy Easter to everyone!

I just got back from midnight mass and it was great. One of my junior, "J", three of my friends who are non-christian and myself had gone together . it felt good that they too ventured to share in this celebration. i like people who are like this.......who don't have a hang up about a religion. these are sensible people and not fanatics. they believe in their own religion, in their own god and their own ceremonies but at the same time they are open to other religion as well and believe in the oneness of god.

i was never a believer, but somehow this last one year has brought some change in me. i have discovered the spiritual side to myself. I guess this comes to everyone eventually. I'm still not a blind believer and i still do not believe in many of the teaching and sermons of the church but i find peacefulness, calm and a sense of direction in that 1 hour I spend in church every week. and afterall it's only 1 hour of our 24*7 busy schedule. we can at least do that much.

    veeerrrrry sleeeeeepy now...........zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Tho I was brought up a catholic, i don't practice my faith much. I have some issues with the catholic church and who they do things. I am looking for a new denomination to get involved it, but i am having difficultying finding where I fit in. Its a shame because I can't really guide my children in the right path of the lord when I don't know what path I should be on. Don't get me wrong, I do belive in God and Hell and all the other stuff. And so do my children.

Oh well, I hope you had a great day and Happy Easter to you and yours. :)

I understand how you feel. I was brought up a catholic too, but somehow some of the concepts does not fit in with me as well. I don't believe in confession, at least not to a priest. ones upon a time i did'nt not even believe in going to church. however i realize that i have to find some sense in religion or else my children will be without the understanding that i faced during my childhood, and i find going to church peaceful. a time for recollection.
we'll all find our way and so will you and your kids :-)

best wishes to you and your family

well if you really been wanting to go to a church since childhood then you should check it out once. Maybe it's something deep inside or just another fantasy. you'll never know till you check it out. and there's never a better time than the present :-)
