Function - SAP Thank you dinner
SAP held their function at the Marquis, Carcosa Sri Negara tonight. It was such a straightforward function - No games or lucky draws, but pretty good entertainment. There was a jazz band, a 10 piece complete with strings and all, and also Buddy Loren. It was nice to see Buddy again after his operation on his joints which left him out of action for six weeks. Class Act was the event Manager

The crowd comprised of SAP clients and some SAP big honchos including Hans-Peter Klaey, the President and CEO of SAP Asia Pacific. Sounds very grand doesn't it. Problem was, because of the diversity of the crowd, being from all different companies, and the fact that the function started late, people left as soon as makan was over and that left less than half the original number by the time Buddy Loren came on. Not only that, they were one of the most difficult to work on, and that left Buddy somewhat in a vacuum... sad.

Function ended at 9:40pm. It was a classy function, but poor planning (it was a weekday night) saw a lot of people just coming for the free food.
