    Concerts PART 2 - The Faint/Les Savy Fav/Schneider TM
Wow... yeah this is next part in the Thurs/Fri Concert series that we went to... Friday night just rocked my world... better than the night with Wesley Willis which was awesome in itself... this concert was in Dallas at The Trees in Deep Elum... it cost $17 to get in... which is VERY expensive by my standards... but oh well... it was worth it afterall... one question.... why the fuck does good 80's music have to attract so many gays... i mean damn it... WTF!!!!.... there were sooo many gay people there... the first band that played ws Schneider TM... I had never heard of them before... but they were awesome... even when their band only had 3 people...they were pretty good... and then came Les Savy Fav... well the music was awesome... until the lead singer turned into gay mode... man... that sucked... he was like showin off his balls and shit... and taking off his shirt and pants and he just went too far... i mean... besides that part.. they put on a good show... he walked around the audience (when he was clothed).... and let the crowd sing and stuff... it was ok.... but then came The Faint.... there were 2 screens benind them that had video stuff going on (cool photoshop type affects... not really video.. more like affects) and a ton of lights and a fog machine and strobe lights... the whole time they played it was just surreal... i felt like i was part of some movie... its hard to explain... it was that awesome.... they rocked the whole house... for those of you who dont know who The Faint are... well theyre a modern 80's band... syntesizer rock is a category that they fall into... they just rock... they played all their best songs... and the best part was that they sounded better live than on CD... and the CD kicks ass... man.. it was soo packed... The Trees is an awesome venue... its a lot smaller than you think... so it made it more crowded and hot and smokey... agian... too many gays damn it... but it still rocked like hell... after that we went to Denny's... which was decent... but my hearing was screwed up for the next 3 hours...man.... if it wasn't so expensive.. i would go and see them tomorrow night again in Austin... everything was awesome... so badass to me...
