If you are here, you might wish to join Celebrity Skin, and we are happy to have you. However, there are a few things you've got to do for us first. We are no longer holding characters unless asked to do so. Also note that we will not hold a character for more than a week unless otherwise instructed. We are capping our membership off at 200. And please limit the number of characters per player to 5. We will not accept ANY characters under the age of 18. Activity checks are Wednesdays and add/removes Friday/Saturdays. We are checking every week. If you haven't posted for two weeks + in your journal, you will be on the list. And then read the joining procedure for information on how to join. (I'm getting really tired of people not following the directions, if this continues we will be forced to not add you to the community. So READ IT. I didn't type it up for my own health). 1. Read the rules. 2. Check the cast list (above) to see what celebrities are already being played. You may play any "pop culture" icon, but no one already being played. 3. Create/Find a journal used strictly for CS, also make sure your username has something to do with the celebrity you are portraying. 4. Put the disclaimer URL in the space given by Blurty. It's not only to avoid getting sued, but to avoid screaming fangirls/boys from IMing/emailing you. It has happened and it's really not that fun. 5. Add the community to your friends list. 6. Set up an AIM name for your character, again please use something related to the celebrity you are playing. 7. Make an initial post in your journal. It must be semi-substantial, showing that: a) you know something about the celebrity you want to play b) your writing style meshes with those currently involved in CS. 8. Reply to this post only.
