A Path Should Have Been Chosen
Unfortunately I have not been well-behaved on the food front so far this weekend. Yesterday evening we had roast pork and deeeee-lishus crackling with roast potatoes, Yorkie puds and veggies. Today, even though I woke up still feeling a bit full from last night, I made a rather large cooked breakfast for us (technically brunch, given that it was 11am): bacon, diced potatoes, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, scrambled eggs and toast. I also made hotcakes for the first time ever (the recipe made one large, fat one each, which was handy). And now I am really, really full. *burp*

Edit: Oh, boy. H made supper and he used three different kinds of potato: roast, croquette and diced with Mediterranean vegetables. Not that I'm complaining about that, but ooooohhh, the gluttony... *clutches self*

Full is the opposite of how I feel right now...

Sounds yummy! You guys do awesome cooked breakfasts.

Due to PMT small stomachache (too small to take anything but noticeable enough to annoy a little), I've largely subsisted on orange squash today, bar a few sausage rolls at lunch, and a few Club bars an hour ago.

potato croquettes = WIN. :) They remind me of Christmas, my mum makes her super-special croquettes every year.
