    insomnia sucks monkey balls
i have insomnia. see the subject title. i haven't slept well in almost three weeks.

thursday- i finished my rough draft for harry putter 3

friday- worked a night shift and made $115. went home, drank a beer, ate a samich and tried to sleep.

saturday- i had a real shitty night at work. i was tired, made no money, things were pissing me off. i'll just leave it at that. a new attempt to sleep: get drunk and pass out! i drank a pitcher of beer at hog wild before heading to ginny's place. i ran into joe and gordon, who both used to work at red lobster. i sang "your love." different crowd there, they didn't really care for it. i went to taco bell afterward, big mistake, stomachaches. went home and lounged around for a few hours before i fell asleep.

sunday- alarm set for 9:30am, i was wide awake at 6am and couldn't go back to sleep. i watched the two towers (a 3 hour movie) before my lunch shift. made like $50 and came home. watched return of the king. not much going on tonight. vicky gave me some different kind of sleeping pills to try, so i guess i'll see how those go. i'm done.

Couple things about insomnia. Don't use alcohol to cure insomnia, you'll just wake up more tired. Don't go to bed with something on your mind. If you have something stuck in your head try to get it out somehow. Sometimes things as simple as writing it down so you can get to it in the morning without forgetting can do the trick. When desperate Tylenol PM is a safe, mild way to get sleep. Just make sure you give yourself eight hours. More powerful sleeping pills are fine but i just don't trust them. Excercise also can help. Take a walk, do sit-ups, etc. just wear yourself out. When very desperate doctors can treat it with certain antidepressants
