Ficlet!! =3

If You Love Him

Kairi snuck up behind Loma – no, that wasn’t it. Something-oma, anyway. She never really bothered with the blue-haired foreigner who helped Riku lie his way into Sora’s pants.
“I know you’re there, Kairi.”
Startled, she stared at Blueboy’s – good alternative name, seeing as she didn’t feel like remembering the real thing – back. *He never even turned around….* She shrugged and walked even closer to him. Why try to hide when he already knew she was there? *The sooner this is over, the better. Pervert. I wouldn’t even acknowledge him, but Sora just had to get involved with him.*
Touma rolled his eyes, the only point he took his attention away from his telescope or star chart. “You can sit down, you know. I don’t bite.”
Kairi glared. “I’ll stand.”
“Suit yourself.” Going back to his charts, he kept part of his attention on Kairi. Especially with all the things she had done to and said about Riku. “What did you want to talk about?”
Shifting her weight, Kairi looked hauntily at Touma’s back. “Who said I wanted anything?” she huffed out.
Touma rolled his eyes again, trying to keep his patience. “You barely acknowledge my presence around Riku and Sora, so you must want something from me.”
*Too smart for his own good,* Kairi mentally snorted. “Fine. I want you to break up with Sora and Riku.”
Sighing, Touma turned to look at Kairi. “I won’t do that,” he said softly, though with conviction. He turned back to his telescope. *I should have known. But…perhaps I could get her to at least think about what exactly she’s doing not only to me and Riku, but especially to Sora.*
“You know, I hope you won’t come to regret that.” Kairi glared.
Busying his hands with the star chart so as not to appear nervous, Touma started talking. "I do know how you feel - how much it hurts to be rejected." He sighed, thinking back to when he told Seiji about his feelings. "A while back, I fell in love with one of my best friends, but he was sort of dating this other girl. I decided to tell him how I felt and then let him decide who he wanted to be with."
The princess rolled her eyes. "And how does this apply to me?"
"Seiji chose Akemi over me. He told me later that he didn't feel anything but friendship and brotherhood for me," Touma countered. "It hurt a lot, but what I truly wanted was for him to be happy. And so I let him go."
Huffing, Kairi turned slightly away from Touma. "Pretty words don't mean anything. And I don't see a point to that little story."
Touma sighed, then started packing up his charts and telescope. He knew he wasn't in any mood to continue, especially after this conversation. "The point is that, if you truly love Sora, you would want him to be happy with whomever he chose, Kairi."
"Even when he's obviously being manipulated by him?"
"If that's so, he has to make his own mistakes." Touma stood and turned to face Kairi. "All you can do is be there if and when he falls." With that, he started back towards the hotel. He got to the edge of the beach before turning back. "Goodnight, Kairi. And think on what I said." Moments later, he was out of Kairi's sight.
Kairi just rolled her eyes. "Like I'll listen to you with you trying to get me to leave Sora," she said to no one in particular. "I'll just have to get Sora to see just how horrible you and Riku are."

^^ I don't understand and I don't know who the characters are, but I like the fic anyway. Except Kairi. She seems like a bitch. ^^
