For the first time in a long time I'm actually tired at an appropriate time and want to go to bed...but there's no reason to be perky on a Saturday morning so I think I'll force my eyelids open and watch the talk shows and then go off to bed at an acceptable hour. Oh yeah, I'm passed my two-day depression, which came on pretty quick to begin with. I love the way you exit a depression: your smugness says you're "over" it; you're bored with being depressed. I get a kick out of that. Anyway, "Ocean's" was pretty good -- nice and slick. Georgie owned the movie. He's one slick mofo. I don't get all the hatin' he gets -- he's obviously an intelligent guy, he handles his gait really well, he makes some interesting movie choices (I loved his and Soderbergh's Tarkovsky remake -- or second version of Lem's novel -- "Solaris"), he's charming as hell, and he looks like he's worked into his age: he actually looks better as a fortysomething than he ever did.

Yeah, I don't think it'd be to far fetched to say that he's similar to cheese or wine. The older he gets, the better he gets. (Reply to this) (Thread) |
