Noon
I was just as baffled as Jack was about Charlie's behavior. He had come storming from his hut, itching for a fight, then out of nowhere, stormed off again. He was definately using.
I was glad he had retreated to his hut. Jack had already decked Colin today, and another fight with Charlie....that would just do him in. I felt responsible. I shook my head as we gathered our empty bags, climbed into the lifeboats, and started back out to the ship--Robin and Melanie in one boat while Jack and I took the other. We left the raft behind this time.
We climbed the ladder, Robin leading with Jack taking up the rear. Once on deck, Robin and Melanie went right back to the kitchen--Robin practically running down there. I was glad to see her happy about something.
"Go to the living quarters?" I asked, turning to Jack.
