I may be too old for this shit
(unlike Ted, I'm not relating this story to my children, so I'm keeping the original phrase ;-) - and for folks who don't know what the hell I'm referring to, ask Amanda.)

So, as some of you may be aware, I finally gave in to the hype & got myself a twitter account. I've twittered once & I've tried to get to twitter at least once a day to see what the folks I'm following (a combination of suggestions from TWoP & a few folks I know who twitter & some of the folks they follow - but I gave up about halfway through adding people to take a nap & haven't gotten back to it yet) are saying.

But, like Facebook, I'm afraid I'm only finding it intermittently enthralling & mostly I find it exhausting and confusing & just one more thing at which I'll fail (as if there's some cosmic judge out there keeping score on how well one adapts to new technological fads.)

In other news, I still miss Pushing Daisies with a red-hot intensity, but at least it seems like its demise has led to some serious improvement in Heroes, so that's something. Don't suppose Ned could somehow be imported into the show - after all, he definitely has a power ;-).

The last three episodes of Pushing Daisies are starting on ITV over here next week. I am very, very happy.

Apparently there was originally talk of Hiro making a cameo on PD at some point, and I know that Lily is supposed to be turning up on Heroes, so we'll see what happens. :-p

As far as I know, they still haven't set any kind of date for the last three Pushing Daisies airing over here. In fact, last I heard, we might have to wait for whenever they get around to producing DVDs of season 2.

Lily has shown up on Heroes over here - in fact, she was on the first Bryan Fuller-written episode this season.

They've already aired in a couple of places - but since those places are Germany and India, I haven't bothered downloading. :-p

My understanding is that the newtwork are contractually obligated to air the missing three at some point, although as you noted, that's most likely to be around the DVD release time to help with the sales.

WHY DID THEY CANCEL THIS SHOW?! *sob*

I'm not sure I'd keep watching Heroes if they did that! Imagine the havoc it would cause. *imagines* *shudders*

Hee. I loved that final, hastily-inserted "STUFF". And the hair.

I think any blips in S3 of Heroes have been due to the staff not knowing what to do with certain characters on the show (and certain writers devolving certain characters, grrrrrr). Now they've worked it out, it is steaming along again. Some of that I think did start before Mr Fuller came back on the scene, but his return to the team can mean only good things. And OK, Ned on the show might be a bit scary, but Lee Pace as a character might not go amiss...
